Europe Invests €10 Billion in Latin America, Focus on Brazil

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced major investments in Brazil, in areas such as energy, industry and the Amazon Fund, revealing that the European Union (EU) will invest 10 billion euros in the South American continent. Through the European Global Gateway initiative, the EU intends to invest 10 billion euros in the continent and the Caribbean, of which two billion euros will be allocated to green hydrogen investment in Brazil, with a focus on “energy efficiency”.
