Brazil Leads EU Investments in Latin America

Brazil is the biggest destination for EU investments in Latin America, says study. Brazilian investments also outstrip Latin American ones in the European bloc. With 263 billion euros invested in the country, Brazil is the largest destination for European Union (EU) Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Latin America and is set to overtake Russia among the emerging nations receiving European resources, due to the war between the Russians and Ukrainians and the trade agreement between Mercosur and the EU. This assessment is part of a study released on Friday called the Brazil-European Union Bilateral Investment Map.
